Many students, often orphans, have approached us because they cannot afford to continue their higher education. Our aim is to help them gain advanced qualifications so that they can work in their own country.
Our limited budget means difficult choices. At the time of this account, we had selected 20 students after reviewing their applications.
How are students selected?
We assess their financial circumstances, school results and motivation.
Which levels of education?
For secondary-school students, we cover enrolment, school supplies and boarding fees. We also support students at universities and other higher-education institutions. For these students, we pay annual enrolment fees, contribute to educational materials and, in some cases, cover accommodation.
How is the support funded?
Some students have sponsors who commit to following them through to graduation. For others, the association covers all costs directly.
Our aim
We want to find enough sponsors for every child in the programme and encourage more supporters to join us so that we can help more young people.
Please get in touch. A sound education, whether vocational or university-based, is essential to their future.
